About Us

I am Rebecca Davis, a retired French teacher with a life-long love for cross stitch. After weathering teaching through a pandemic, I decided to hang up my teaching hat and embark on a new journey. The Stitchin' Kitten is the result. 

I had to include my love of cats into the store as I am well-versed in stitching with those "specialty fibers" that they donate to all of my projects.  You will see my furbabies throughout both the website and the store.  I will be happy to tell you all about them!

My daughter Caroline has joined me in this endeavor.  She has several years of retail experience and is the creative half of our duo. Caroline does all of the hard finishing for the store and is designing patterns that are exclusive to The Stitchin' Kitten. If you need help choosing a fabric color or converting threads, she is your girl!
